Housekeeper F said the facility had stopped purchasing the proper solution and no longer had the dispensing hookup that used to automatically mix cleaner into a bucket. The facility had no Housekeeping Director. The Regional Nurse Consultant confirmed there was no training for staff on how much floor chemical to use.
The supply collapse traced back to a management change. A central supply worker who had been in the building for several years said that before September 1, 2025, when new management took over, there had never been a problem with supplies. After the takeover, she said, there was a budget issue, and the facility went from having supplies to limited supplies. Corporate controlled what got ordered. Facility staff had no say.
The administrator told inspectors there were extra supplies in the basement and said he had told staff to educate someone on where to find them. He expected housekeeping to know how much chemical to use.
The Director of Nursing said it was important to test employees for tuberculosis so they don't infect residents. The floors were being mopped with a product nobody could verify.
