Turning and repositioning is a primary responsibility of nursing assistants.
However, all nursing staff are expected to assist with turning and repositioning. 3.
The frequency of turning and repositioning will be documented in the resident's plan of care .A review of a facility policy titles Pressure Injury Prevention and Management with a review/revised date of 10/01/2025 revealed under Policy: This facility is committed to the prevention of avoidable pressure injuries, unless clinically unavoidable, and to provide treatment and services to heal the pressure ulcer/injury, prevent infection and the development of additional pressure ulcers/injuries.
