Review of undated, current Oxygen Administration checklist identified nursing staff was to verify practitioner's order for use of oxygen therapy, gather necessary supplies and equipment, perform a baseline assessment that was to include vital signs, breath sounds, oxygen saturation level and physical assessment before administering oxygen therapy.
