the Nursing staff ever call them to discuss the orders for treatment of the wounds and they indicated they did not and left that decision to the Nurse to decide and would sign off on the order later. NP A reported that if a resident needed antibiotics they would order those or other medications for them.During the onsite survey, past noncompliance (PNC) was cited after the facility implemented actions to correct the noncompliance which included education to the providers, new wound nurse and nursing staff. A new order set was set up with guidelines depending on the resident's risk of skin break down. Current residents were reviewed by the provider. The facility was able to demonstrate monitoring of the corrective action and maintained compliance.
