She further stated that there was no harm to the Resident #13 because he never asked for medication.

She then stated that for Resident # 15, there is no harm because she did not receive medication from (Staff #54).

She also stated that it's the nurse's practice to administer medication orders by the physicians with the parameters and to document it accurately in the MAR and the Narcotic sheet. A policy titled Medications: Controlled Substances revealed that not surrendered to anyone, including the resident's provider, except for the following: a.

For a resident on pass or therapeutic leave; b. To a resident or responsible party upon discharge from the facility; or c. To the DEA or other law enforcement officials functioning in a professional capacity in exchange for a receipt documenting the transaction.
