Central Supply PPP, who worked in the building for several years, said everything changed when new management took over on September 1, 2025. "Before the management change, there was never a problem with supplies," the employee said. "When they took over, there was a budget issue, and the facility went from having supplies to limited supplies."
The employee received additional duties handling medical records and accounts payable in October 2025. "I tried to do everything, but it is a lot," they said.
Regional Nurse Consultant confirmed housekeeping staff ordered their own supplies without a Housekeeping Director overseeing the process. "There was no training for staff on how much floor chemicals to use," the consultant said.
Administrator B expected housekeeping to use appropriate supplies and know proper chemical amounts without providing training. The administrator said extra supplies were stored in the basement and told staff to educate someone on where to find them.
The Dietary Manager said corporate personnel ordered supplies for the facility, removing local control over purchasing decisions.
Housekeeping staff previously used an automated system that dispensed water and cleaner through a hose. Housekeeper T said they "liked that set up better" than manually measuring chemicals.
